This review is from: OtterBox Defender Series for Samsung Galaxy S III - Retail Packaging - Glacier (Wireless Phone Accessory) Ordered the Otterbox defender Sunday from Amazon. Monday received notice of shipping and was delivered Wednesday, ahead of schedule by two days. The case fit my Galaxy S3 nicely. The case looks and feels great. This is the way online ordering should be. 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful ![]() This review is from: OtterBox Defender Series for Samsung Galaxy S III - Retail Packaging - Glacier (Wireless Phone Accessory) Best case available! Tough case with a durable holster to match. Holster dubs as a kickstand too. I have always used otterbox on all my devices.Word of advice: all the cases with these built in screen protectors are good, but the screen protector themselves suck! Simply punch out the factory screen protector and use a third party clear one or zagg. To get that screen clarity that you want and purcashed the phone for. Their only stuck on there by a cheap adhesive. Punch that out, use your own and you will love it! I work for vzw. I know this stuff way too much :) 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful ![]() By Techno Geek (Brookline, NH United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: OtterBox Defender Series for Samsung Galaxy S III - Retail Packaging - Glacier (Wireless Phone Accessory) I just got this case and I have to say that it is very sturdy and seems like it will protect the phone very nicely. It adds a bit of bulk to the phone, but I do not mind it. To be honest I felt like I could break the phone just by holding it :-) .There is one thing that I noticed right away about this case though, the built in screen protector diminishes the look of the screen. There is a very subtle pattern that when combined with the high resolution of the screen seems to produce an interference pattern. I will have to see if this is enough of an annoyance to make me want to return it. I wonder if the screen protector can be removed and a product like the Zagg HD invisibleShield could be used instead. Also, I had trouble snapping the case in the belt carrier with the screen facing out, so that I could make use of the kick stand. |
